About the Author:
Dr. Jeff Paxton lives in Russellville, Arkansas, where he serves as the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dover. He has been in full-time ministry for nearly twenty years and has served at his current church for over fifteen years. Dr. Paxton received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of Memphis, his Master of Divinity Degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee, and his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. He has participated in mission trips in the United States and in countries around the world including India and Guatemala.
In his time away from church work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, Marci, and their two children, Austin and Ashley. He also operates Paxton's Portraits and Projects, a small business from his home that primarily consists of Christian scrollwork and personal portraits cut in wood. He also sells his scrollwork in two booths at a local Collector's Gallery Craft Mall and, as time permits, works several craft shows throughout the year. This is his first book for Fox Chapel Publishing Company.
