About the Author:
Floyd Scholz has won a large, enthusiastic, international following with his portrayal of eagles, hawks, owls, and other large birds. His works can be found in many museums and collections throughout the world. Floyd and his carvings have been featured in a number of publications including People, Smithsonian, Forbes, Yankee, Birder's World, and Vermont Life. He is also the author of Birds of Prey, Owls, Carving & Painting an American-Kestral, and Carving & Painting a Red-Tailed Hawk. He shares his love of birds and passion for art with students from around the world through his carving and painting seminars at the Vermont Raptor Academy.
