After a long early career as a professional photographer, Anthony Bailey made a clean break and followed up with his other passion which was woodworking.

For ten years he worked as an antique restorer, cabinetmaker, joiner and bespoke kitchen builder. Latterly, Anthony started writing articles for woodworking magazines and after many years effort now finds himself in the lucky position of being the GMC in-house photographer shooting many woodworking subjects with which he is extremely familiar.

For authors and magazine contributors it is reassuring to discover that Anthony is very much on their wavelength and good at bringing out the best in his subjects when they come before his lens.

Anthony lives in a delightful cottage in East Sussex, in the south of England, with his wife, Patsy, and four children Francis (9), Amber (11), Lucy (13) and Alex (15). They all have creative and artistic leanings which suggests they are very much 'a chip off the old block'!
