If you have a young girl (be it a daughter or grandchild) you will be quick to try your woodworking skills for these scale model furniture pieces. The author starts with plans for a half dollhouse replete with gingerbread and then he furnishes it. Simmons fills the house with a rocking chair, a canopy bed, mirror, grandfather clock, dining table and much more. In fact, there are four styles of bed, four table types and assorted chair styles. And for clothing, your 18-inch doll can store them in a beautiful armoire.
A fully and well furnished dollhouse will certainly be enjoyed by the young and old alike. Beautiful work and Simmons shows you how it's done.
