Crafters love anything cozy, and nothing says cozy like a bear in a knit scarf. Author-designer Lebedenko (Sewing Scrap Blocks with Character, 2020) creates three similarly shaped, simply designed animals--specifically, a grizzly bear, a polar bear, and a panda bear--and incorporates them into embellishments for 18 different objects, from quilt blocks to gift tags and boxes. Upfront instructions are abbreviated; there's a long list of supplies along with the how-to's on fabricating pompons, stuffing the bears, and constructing and finishing the quilts, plus a few ABCs of painting and quilting.
